We also celebrated Father's Day and my mother's birthday. I'm so thankful to have such loving parents (and aunts like Aunt Lily!).
We celebrated the wedding of my good college friend, Elizabeth.
I was fortunate to take a girls road trip to Savannah and Charleston with some of my book club friends. Our Charleston trip included a carriage ride tour, Pat Conroy's South of Broad walking tour, lunch at Slightly North of Broad (SNOB), dinner at Shem Creek, and an afternoon at Middleton Place.
We were all surprised by how much we LOVED Savannah! Here is our "must" do list while in Savannah:
- A late lunch at The Tea Room
- Ice cream at Leopold's
- Drive around at night with the windows down, listen to Frank Sinatra, and enjoy the beautiful homes
- Tybee Island
- Dinner and piano sing-a-longs at 17Hundred90
- Shopping at The Paris Market
Last week I attended a professional development institute in Atlanta. I enjoyed meeting up with my cousin Maureen and her youngest daughter Mara (plus I had some quality shopping time at H&M and Ikea!).
Ricky and I celebrated my 28th birthday by going so Spin class and seeing Knight and Day. Got to love grown up birthdays!
