An Old Fashion Methodist Pounding for the Pastor

Ricky and I were thrilled to receive such a thoughtful gift from the members of St. Luke's. Looks like I need to start cooking!

"A custom originating from the Quakers: When a couple moves into the neighborhood, a welcome wagon get together would be called so the neighbors could bring a pound of flour, sugar, or other helpful ingredient to help stock the new neighbor's cupboards."


Yes, that's definitely caramel cake on the left!



Ricky can fix his favorite meal: PB&J!


We'll save this for when Rosemary comes to visit.
