A Trip Down Libby Lane

“Home, the spot of earth supremely blest, A dearer, sweeter spot than all the rest.”

Robert Montgomery

As Ricky and I prepare to move our little family into the new parsonage, we decided to look back at the past five years on Libby Lane. How blessed we are to have such wonderful memories in our first home together!

It all started with this! Ricky signing our house offer. Durham, NC (May 2007)

Snow Day (2010)

We survived a tornado on Libby Lane (April 2008)

We learned how to do minor house renovations.

Ricky said goodbye to his Sentra

And hello to his new car (Flash Gordon)

We always enjoyed hosting small groups and gatherings with friends.

Hosting my first Christmas Tea (December 2010)

We welcomed a new family member in May 2008.

Penny Lane helped prepare us for parenthood with lots of late nights!

My first Mother's Day (2008)

Penny Lane demonstrating one of our favorite Libby Lane pastimes (laying in the hammock on a beautiful day).

Our first Christmas (2007)

Our first Easter (2008)

Preparing the Easter lunch for both sets of parents

We continued the tradition of always carving a pumpkin for Halloween (2008)

My favorite memory on Libby Lane was bringing our sweet baby home from the hospital.

My entire family visited Libby Lane for Henry's baptism. (September 2011)

My favorite Libby Lane tradition was taking our wedding anniversary picture in front of our home. Here we are on May 19, 2010.
