The Shaw/James/Street/Fournier families gathered in Sandestin two weeks ago to celebrate my mother's 65th birthday and father's day. As usual, there was never a dull moment!
We all arrived Friday afternoon and enjoyed time by the pool. That evening we celebrated Mom's birthday at Elephant Walk.
Ryan and Jason made everyone breakfast on Saturday and then we spent the day at the beach. Our friends, the Stricklands, were also staying at Sandestin so Gabi and Henry had a great time playing with each other.
Henry wasn't interested in playing in the sand. All he wanted to do was dive into the waves. Just like his mother!
Erin arranged to have an amazing photographer take our family pictures on Saturday evening.
That evening Erin arranged for a private chef, Phil McDonald of Table Five, to cook a meal in our condo. The food was all fresh, local food. Simply incredible!
Sunday was Father's Day so we had a great family brunch complete with matching Jazz Hands Beach Spectacular matching shirts!
We took Henry to the park and then spent the rest of the day at the beach. Poor Henry passed out right on the beach! We all had a great time but may need a vacation after our vacation!
