I spent countless hours sitting in desks similar to the ones above during my college years. Between learning about the Bhagavad Gita and analyzing The Book of the Courtier, I always enjoyed reading the messages that were engraved in the desk tops. To my surprise, the college was getting rid of hundedreds of desk this spring. One of my co-workers and I snagged these desks for free! I can't wait to refurbish them!
So excited that you were able to snag these desks. Thousands of names and messages left on the tops and sides of these beauties. Just think of the future little James children sitting in those desks and doing their homework. Make sure you refurbish first--reading those desks isn't the way we want them to expand their vocabulary.
